Active Ingredient:

Pretilachlor 50% EC is an herbicide that contains 50% pretilachlor as its active ingredient. Pretilachlor is a colorless, odorless liquid containing ethoxylated vegetable oil as the emulsifying agent and alkyl aryl sulfonate of calcium salt as the surfactant. It's commonly used in agriculture to eliminate unwanted plants in rice fields.

1. 1. Viper effectively targets a wide range of weeds in rice fields, including annual grasses, sedges, and broad-leaved weeds.
2. 2. Applied within 0-4 days after transplanting, Viper prevents weed emergence, ensuring a clean start for the rice crop.
3. 3. Viper offers cost-effective weed control with its broad-spectrum activity and low usage rate. It provides extended control, reducing the need for frequent reapplication.
4. 4. Viper leaves no residual effect on subsequent crops, ensuring continued crop health.
5. 5. Viper is compatible with other herbicides, making it suitable for integrated pest management.

Methods & Time Of Application:

It can be used as a foliar spray by using Knapsack Sprayers fitted with a Flat Fan or Flood Jet Type of Nozzle. Add the recommended quantity of Viper into a small amount of water and mix well. Lastly, add the remaining full amount of water and mix it well by continuously steering and spraying uniformly immediately after transplanting to 4 days of transplanting. Keep 2-3 cm standing water in the crop field up to 5 days after application.

Caution:

Do not spray during Foggy climates and in the early morning. There must be proper moisture in the field. Wear safety equipment such as gloves, aprons, masks, etc. Choose the correct nozzle for spray. Spray in the direction of the wind. Do not smoke, drink, eat, or chew anything while spraying. Avoid contact with mouth, eyes, and skin. Avoid inhalation of the spray mist, fog, and vapors. Take a bath properly after application. Antidote: No specific antidote. It is toxic to fish and should not be used near aquaculture.
